For all-purpose barcode label printing, I recommend the Zebra LP/TLP 2824 and 2844.
These
printers are available in USB/Serial or Parallel interfaces and are compatible with almost any barcode
label printing software. For durable labels that need to withstand exposure to sunlight or heat, the TLP
thermal transfer models are the way to go. If your application only requires a label with a short lifespan
and inexpensive printing, the LP direct thermal options are best. The 2824 models can print up to 2 inch
wide labels whereas the 2844 models can print up to 4 inches wide. Media comes in a variety of sizes
and durability options, so there is a label for every application. |
