Motorola´s LI4278 barcode scanner delivers the freedom of cordless scanning, combined with the power of Motorola´s linear imaging technology. The LI4278 provides any business with a scanner ideal for retail, light industrial, and warehouse inventory management.

Scanning with the LI4278 is quick and easy. The linear imager sports a phenomenal scan range of up to 31" for standard UPC barcodes. Excellent motion tolerance and the ability to scan in sunlight ensures the LI4278 is suitable for high volume scanning almost anywhere.

Motorola built the LI4278 to use Bluetooth v2.1 Class 2 communications, giving you wonderful range, speed, and security. The effective radio range of the scanner is 330 feet, so you can scan products wherever they´re located. Bluetooth v2.1 runs at a speed of 3 Mbit/sec, reducing data transmission bottlenecks and promoting faster scanning. Scanned data is encrypted, preventing third parties from catching sensitive information, including customer names or patient information.

While optimal in a retail environment, the LI4278 is built strong enough for warehouse and light industrial applications. The scanner withstands drops of six feet to concrete, while gasket sealing prevents dust from settling on internal components and allows the scanner to be cleaned as needed.
