The POS-X EVO Laser barcode scanner is an economical solution for retailers needing accurate
1D scans. The optimal scan range of 0.5" to 10" for 13 mil retail barcodes eliminates the need to learn
where the scannerīs "sweet spot" is. With a measured scan speed of 72 scans/sec, the EVO Laser
keeps up with the high demand present in many department stores or other retailer environments.
The LED indicator on the top of the scanner is a visual cue of effective scans, lighting up green when
ready to scan and red when a barcode has been scanned successfully. The POS-X EVO Laser is
built to handle rough retail environments. The rubberized housing provides protection from accidental
bumps and collisions, and allows the scanner to withstand drops of 3 feet.
