A portable data collector allows you to scan large quantities of data before synchronizing with your inventory application or outputting the data to a readable format. Unlike a cordless barcode scanner, a portable data collector has both an add button and remove button, generally removing the last entry. More advanced units come with LCD screens and function keys, allowing you to navigate your records and modify them as needed.
