Portable data collectors allow you to collect batches of barcode data before synchronizing with your inventory software or outputting it into a readable format. Unlike a cordless scanner, which can just store batches of data, a portable data collector also allows you to remove entries as needed. Additional units offer keypads and LCD screens, allowing you to navigate records or even run basic inventory management applications.
