Janam XP SeriesThe XP Series from Janam technologies uses the Palm OS platform to give you mobile data collection wherever you need it. Available with a numeric keypad or the more traditional PDA-style key layout, the XP Series comes with color or monochrome screens. The XP Series can hotsync via batch serial or usb interfaces as well as 802.11 wireless, meaning your data can be updated on the fly. For durability, the XP Series features an IP54 seal, keeping dust and water splashes away from the sensitive electronics. The rugged body also allows the unit to withstand multiple 4´ drops to concrete, making the Janam XP series an excellent upgrade for existing Palm OS installations or those looking to set up a new mobile data collector deployment. |

POSMicro Staff Notes: After the Symbol SPT1550 was discontinued, the Janam XP series stepped up to plate as a Palm OS-based mobile computer. This unit is a fantastic replacement for aging or damaged Palm OS mobile computers, and is much more powerful than older equipment. If your inventory or mobile sales apps are Palm OS-based, the XP Series is a fantastic way to extend the life of your software.
