The Datalogic PowerScan 7000 2D barcode scanner is a great fit for businesses operating in extreme conditions. Built to an IP65 seal, the PowerScan 7000 2D keeps dust and low power jets of water from harming the internals. The barcode scanner is also insulated against cold weather, operating properly in temperatures as low as -20° F. Datalogic built the PowerScan 7000 2D with special VGA Plus image sensor, capturing images at 752x480 pixels. Not only does this ensure fast barcode scanning, but it provides high quality images for signature capture and OCR font reading. To aid in aiming, the imager shines a green LED aiming bar, and Datalogic΄s Green Spot technology provides a visual cue on successful scans.
