The Datalogic Magellan 8500Xt barcode scanner / scale combination gives any high volume retail or grocery location a fast and reliable barcode scanning solution. Datalogicīs SurroundScan technology enables you to scan barcodes on 6 sides of the product, letting you scan barcodes with minimal reorientation. At 6,400 scans per second, the Magellan 8500Xt reads fast enough to keep lines moving smoothly.
Datalogicīs new dual interval weighing system increases precision when weighing lighter products, ensuring accurate price and inventory reporting everytime. Featuring a 0.005 lb increment for weights under 12 lbs, this system is ideal when selling higher priced commodities such as cheeses or metals. Datalogicīs AllWeighs technology lets you weigh large or bulky items without fear of resting on the unit and reporting inaccurate measures. Built to the same standards as Datalogicīs other barcode scanner / scale combinations, the Magellan 8500Xt is the new workhorse of the POS world.
